So my buddy is getting ready to run 14 psi on a stock bottom end spec and was wondering 100 percent meth or a mixture let me know your opinion

I seriously thought this thread was about how to make Meth, like the drug. Sorry I just got a little nervous and thought this forum was taking a really bad turn.....

Where the hell do you get 100% meth anyway? Can't find it here. I would use the washer fluid like heidi and g, but I don't want that blue die going into my motor. I am just not comfortable with that.

i have a coolingmist trunkmount kit(holds about 1 & 1/2 gallons and i have ran through 4 cycles so far of...-30 windshield washer fluid(pink stuff from advanced auto) and 2 bottles of yellow heet...each cycle I have never had any problems with this mixture what so ever... my cars tuned to 11.8-12.1 with zero knock...The meth comes on at 4psi

i go to the local performance shop and buy 2 gal of methanol.. it's cheap like 3.50 a gal.. cheaper than reg gas!! anywho i then mix in a little less than 2 gal of distilled water and bam.. done! that lasts me a good 3-4 months and costs less than 10$.. i with you guys.. i dont trust all that extra shit in windshield washer fluid.. i do use a little more meth than water bc i tuned for the meth mixture at 50/50 and dont wanna run lean. but it gave me a good boost of power.. my tune was at like -13 up top and after the meth i am at like -22 up top and thats at 11.1-11.2 a/f..

not the standard cheap blue -20 stuff. gurov's run it for about 55, 000 miles and his engine is fine

i wouldn't suggest using the bug remover kind, or the rainx/mr clean/whatever kind with soaps and de-icer in it.

i've never had a problem, i've run from .050 to .020 gap on the STOCK plugs (the platinums) for 60k miles before i decided to just get irridium plugs, been on those since.

never once was there any sign of wear, the plugs stayed squeaky clean.

any other rumors i should dispell ?

back in colorado, it was 97 cents for 1 gallon of window washer fluid.

here on the east coast, it's 11 dollars for 6 gallons, buck-eighty per gallon. plus throw a bottle of heet per each, if i feel like beating the shit out of it.

cheaper ? maybe. available - window washer fluid is going to beat anything else out there.

is it that hard to find methanol? i called 3 performance build shops and all 3 had it the one i go to is like a mile from my house and i live in basically country NC.. didnt even know it was there.. but at $10 for 4 gallons of 50/50 i think thats pretty cheap.. and lasts what seems like forever (especially on my 3gph) to each their own.. not saying what you use is bad and not saying what i use is good just saying there are tons of options out there.. could just run 100% meth.. i know some of us do.. or just distilled water.. anything is better than nothing at all.

yea i might swithc to just meth but just kinda scared of having all that flamible liquid just sitting in the engine bay.. i have my container by the batt and wouldnt be fun if i got a leak
