Re: Best kit for beginner

I would stay away from zex!

If you shop around you kind find some simple NOS or NX kits in a decent price range.

Why?  I know people who have sprayed more though a zex box, than most people on this site make for HP with no issues.

Re: Best kit for beginner

but why get used when he can get new?!!!!---->  this plug is shameful!

All kits have their ups and downs and everyone will say different things about different kits.

Many people have a lot of luck with a zex kit and a few people hate it.  It is very simply to set-up which is nice.

Re: Best kit for beginner

Only reason I advised against the Zex is that I have known a few ppl who have used it and did not like
it. I posted my first responce to him before I decided to sell my kit.

Best kit for a beginner= zex for ease of installation

best kit overall---as arbitrary as "is the spec V a good car?"

Hilarious!! smiley-clapping I just thought his last bit was funny. I'm not too much of a "spray" kind of guy but if its just better times down the 1320 that you're looking for, then it looks like ZEX is the one to go with.

Re: Best kit for beginner

I like the NOS kits. they make a nice complete kit for like 300 on ebay comes with all the lines and fittings, the solenoids, and a 20lb bottle. My buddy has this kit on his focus zx3 and is a nice kit, comes with 35/50/75 shot jets.

i keep hearing tons of good things about NX. i also keep hearing 85% good and 15% bad things about Zex. surprisingly i really don't hear that much about NOS..

For beginners I don't think anything else is easier to install.  I hardly finished my six pack and it was ready to spray.  Much easier to do a clean looking install too.
As long as you like the colour purple! lol!
