setting up a turbo system?

hi there i got a 06 spec and im thinking of boosting it. But i wonder if anyone has a good recommedation of pistons and rods? I know the car stock can be boosted up to 9psi.  But u can allway get more boost need help on this

First off, welcome to the site as I see it's your first post (but you're not online right now). . .

Secondly, someone just broke the 400whp on a stock block @ ~14 psi. Of course he has supporting mods to do so.

Thirdly, (not trying to be a dickhead) The FI section here has butt-loads of info from various types of setups. Which is more than a shit-ton. I suggest you read, read, read. If anything is unclear, ask away. There's plenty of turbo nuts on here to give you some answers.

I think it all boils down to what are your ultimate goals for the car.

You can push 14psi on stock rods and pistons with meth kit and block guard.

When you go past 14psi you will into more problems than pistons/rods. For example the MAF maxes out at 350whp.

The question is how long the stock block will hold at 400whp...

The stock rods are THIN...
