Throttle Body Spacers

Hey guys I am going to make a bunch of spacers up and I kinda need to know if it worth my time to make a bunch. I need to see if anyone will be interrested in getting these. I am thinking $40 shipped and $50 shipped to Canada. Anyone interrested?????

I think I paid like $2.30 for the gasket at nissan.  And its a metal gasket.  They're very VERY cheap.

ummm... look pretty?  they're nice for those needing a place to tap the intake... but otherwise, they don't give much if any performance gains.  i have one, and it's tapped for air intake temp for my standalone...  some people use them for nitrous or alcohol injection

Re: Throttle Body Spacers

The Power-Tower Helix (Throttle Body Spacer) http://www.streetandperformanceelectronics.com/hptp.htm
Is truly a great buy. The unique design that they have is one of a kind, they have an ingravement within the Helix that makes the air swirl which makes for a great sound and will not only improve your HP and lb-tr, but will also make your throttle responce improve, and it will also greatly help ALOT in MPG, and that sound of the Helix, sounds like a turbo whistling under your hood. My best friends car was used in the concept model that was made for the 06 Spec Vs, and let me tell you... If you want a Helix that delivers try this one. The power and torque gains that you will get...  the new found responce when you press the petal,  that lovely sound that it makes, and the money you'll save on gas.... its really worth it. They start at around $120.00

Re: Throttle Body Spacers

O and all parts are included, including extra nuts, bolts, the gasket, and it even has piping for your intake... so all you need is a tool box with the normal screw driver ext... and your good. Install time is less than an hour I believe... check that site it will give you more info.

quoted for false. Doesn't do anything that you mentioned on our car. We aren't even sure if the extra plenum space offers any improvements. All this hype/bullshit could be solved with a dyno, but people selling this kinda crap don't do indepentant testing for a reason, it wouldn't show any results whatsoever.

Re: Throttle Body Spacers

Yes you are right on the Dyno thing, don't have a print out that shows gain... but from a customer whom has purchased them several times.... I asure you I have noticed the Hp, lb-Tr gain... (Don't expect 30 hp... but 5 - 7 is realistic... and yes you can tell) And I really noticed when I started geting 7 more miles to the gallon... and these days... the more miles you can get, the better.... and that 7 miles was when I was either on cruse, or driving hard throwing down between gears. And Lastly the sound... well you can try it when you buy it, but dang does it make those other drivers at the stop light turn their heads and say, you got a turbo in that thang?!? No joke... But not to hate... there isn't a proven dyno... but from some one whom has had them, and has had friends and fam that have them as well... I tell you that the others might not do a thing, but the Power-Tower Helix really does.

LOL I don't make them bro... and I don't even have a ebay profile... Secondly I never said I got 25, and I know I didn't, but I did get at least 5hp, and I can tell. Just stop haten for no reason... The guy asked a question and I'm giving a honest answer, if you don't like it or don't agree... thats cool.. but bottom line is, I have one, and I know it works... you...... Thats my point.

Re: Throttle Body Spacers

If you got 5whp from a TBS, that means I drive a 700whp Spec V.  Just because it feels that way doesn't mean it's true.

Now, this is when someone should go dyno theirs.  And record the awesome turbo sound... smiley-unsure

Re: Throttle Body Spacers

lmao@ turbo sound

for people who read this thread and can't see through your bullshit.

Spacers do not make 5whp. MAYBE 1, which is technically in the margin of error on a dyno so maybe NONE

It does NOT give you 7mpg. Geting 7 more mpg out of a car is a serious undertaking or it would ALREADY COME LIKE THAT FROM THE FACTORY.

"Helix" shit does nothing because it does NOT spin the air going directly into the head. TB spacers with that shit on it won't spin the air going through the long ass intake runners where the fuel is actually sprayed (under high psi, with a specialized injector jetting to atomize as well as possible.

Sorry for my boldness, but I would hate for someone to buy one based on what this douche is spreading.

lmao@ turbo sound

for people who read this thread and can't see through your bullshit.

Sorry for my boldness, but I would hate for someone to buy one based on what this douche is spreading.

couldnt have said it better myself.

we dont have carburetors, our fuel dosn't need help atomizing.

Putting uneducated fools in their place since 04.

They start at around $120.00

what a prick!!! I thought i was reading a GI/GB thread not a spammer...

Re: Throttle Body Spacers

Reminds me of that "Internet" skit on The Dave Chapelle Show.  Dude in broken accent says "Make your penis larger Bro?"

02 Se-R spec-V in "me-too-silver" Bolt-ons, tuned, coilovers, dual tipped fart can.  No stickers, vinyl or other rice installed.

I see you have Honda and your trolling on a Nissan Forum...
