I basically searched for I would say a good 6 months straight, every forum...and it just popped up on the classifieds on msv, late October...I almost sold the spec at that time...

the kit has been discontinued for at least a couple of years...limp_noodle, ironically, is credited with my obsession...he bought two of these kits, sold one to the kid I bought mine from...and I've seen limp's car in person which I absolutely love...so I guees it was meant to be, because it made its way into my possession...after admiring the look of his car...

If your not familiar with this kit, its made for the 01 sentra...front bumper is the only thing that is different from 02-03 and thats why he has to do the 01 bumper swap to get the front lip to fit...

In my situation, I had to find something it was going to match...to be honest, my orginal thought was the Onderground replica front lip they make for the 02-03 which never did much for me, but I got lucky talking to Gspec who found 5 Nissan Motorsport front lips in warehouse in Cali...yeh the real deal existed and was still around...pretty crazy...

the significance of that was how well the sides of the front lip matched up with front end of the erebuni side skirts...it basically looks like they were made to go together...(check the blueprint pic)...

So you can say the face lift my 02 received pushed me to finish off the N/A build I have going and the Spec will probably end up being a keeper, possibly going FI down the line...

Since I've actually had the spec 5 1/2 years, bought in brand new Sept 2002, there is a little more significance as far as what I post in my showoff...its truly been a project...with 102,000 miles on the body and my 2nd QR (around 30K), this is the unofficial rebirth...

both the B15 front lip and the erebuni kit is no longer available...the closest thing you can get is the Onderground replica kit...

looks great joe. Andy's autosport sells the rear and sideskirts. I found that out when I was trying to find another front lip for my car..no one makes it..womp womp.

yea I was thinking of having al fix it, but there's a big chunk of it missing. Its probably going to cost me a lot. I'll get it done in the future though.

you car looks amazing. I love the lip. I know I won't get that replica CF anymore though, it hangs too low and I know I'll destroy it, lol.

I've had black rims...I've seen the nismo bronze on the silver spec in person...but imo, by far across the board on my car...silver looks better than bronze (not that bronze looks bad, I just dont like the contrast nismo bronze & Motlen Silver)...Nismo Silver is obviously lighter, but it does blend nicely if you've seen the setup in person...I was going for more of a match here...(anything close to the same color of the body or lighter)
bottom line, its always preference...both look good, it depends on what you prefer and what you're going for...fyi...if I had a black Spec V, I would of gone with the Nismo Bronze...

As for the lip...my drop is perfect (always has been thanx to larry)...its not slammed, around 2" or so...but there are still definitely major issues driving this car, especially in jersey...the lip has recently been tightened and resecured to the bumper...I originally had it so there was some give...and maybe the 1/4 to 1/2 inch I took up, has honeslty made a difference...75% of driveways I have to back in...including my own...at highway speeds I need to brake and slow down in areas where the road is uneven...and specifically on the streets, city streets, I do not guess...when in doubt, make a u-turn and take a different street when you see a potential problem area in a road...

the Nissan motorsport B15 front lip spoiler, is something I will take care of because of how it matches with the erebuni sides and rear, but even more so because it is rare and cant be replaced...but I can honestly say I am looking forward to showing some wear on my front bumper...this car was bought and built to be driven...the face lift it received will only last so long...1200 miles in the last 3 weeks 104k+ total...

so...I've been messing with the Procharger SC for some time now...I've been pricing a kit together and then it happened...

T3/T4 E-50 Ball Bearing Turbo becomes available, practically brand new...basically a Turbonetics kit shy of fuel pump and injectors, probably some couplers as well ect...the fucking price is ridiculous...gonna piece together some parts and maybe some upgrades...I got a ballpark estimate on an install, a guy out of state from me who's more than reputable...and there you have it...

I cannot believe I'm boosting myspecv!!!...more specifically, w/ a Turbow...gonna be conservative with this setup, but we'll see what happens...

All I can say is, one day you think one thing then next another...slash that, I never thought I would turbow my car...and thats been well documented...

btw...its an 04 kit need to fabricate piping from MAF???...any thoughts...
