Green 2005 wrx injector next to red 2002 qg18 injector. It looks like the nissan orings can be swapped onto the subaru injector to make it fit perfectly in the qg18.

SE-Rs (B15s) have 310s for injectors.

And the qg injectors are something like 190cc.
I have the wrx injectors installed in my spare qg fuel rail and intake manifold right now. They fit fine with those blue o-rings (in the picture) on the top and bottom. I dont remember where the o-rings came from, but they should be available at any parts store. Just buy an assortment and experiment.

Is there a reason for this?

to see if i could get a better tune with ser injectors. i have heard of ser injectors on other 1.8l sentras before and a friend of mine who works at nissan as a mec told me this would work.

What are you tuning with? And I was asking what you have done that requires more fuel.

for more fuel i added a ser maf sensor and to tune im still looking for the best option for a piggyback.

No what mods do you have that require more fuel to be injected into the cylinders? The stock injectors are good for any n/a build on a qg. the only reason a qg owner would need bigger injectors is if they were boosted

not really i did it for a better spray of fuel. the stock injectors are good but very small.

i suppose if you get bigger injectors and use safc to take out fuel, you'd be bumping the timing up slightly. this is the unfortunate side-effect of massive injectors, with my 660's the car knocks all over the place, taking out like -25% fuel

a better spray of fuel? please tell me how a injector that only flows more cc's is going to give a better spray of fuel?

Youre beating a dead horse here. Its pretty obvious hes getting no performance benefit from the qr injectors.

Im still a little confused about how that works. Ive read that pulling airflow out in effect retards the fuel map, which has the same result as advancing the timing map. But is it in the way the safc pulls airflow or is it in the actual lowered amount of airflow sensed? Say if I used a larger maf housing (vq30/ sr20) on my qg, it would lower the airflow signal to the ecu, but would it also advance the timing? Im thinking it wouldn't, but I dont really understand this yet.
