Guys I bought this header around April. Awesome is all I have to say about it!!!!

Mark you should try to do something with a midpipe w/ hi-flow cat man!!

If any of you need this header get it. The only thing that needs advise is to re-use your stock exhaust manie gasket and not the one that is supplied.

The only "con" is the gasket is crap. Just my opinion. The stock, layered, gasket is much better. So either re-use or buy I new one for $15.00. The header its self is of great quality. Welds are nice but dont expect the finsh to stay shiney cause it will not. I am going to get some heat wrap for that or get it jet coated. Undecided at this time.

For the money, you cant go wrong!!

Here is install tip w/ stainless steel !!

Use gloves w/ install, clean header ( I heard brake cleaner works good ) , wipe it down. Take your engine bay pics before starting the car, otherwise once heated any dirt / grime / fingerprints will burn to the header. I was in big hurry and when I had my SpecV the header looked like crap, fingerprints all over and grime burnt to it.

If your looking for added protection and consistant finish, a few customer have spray coated the header w/ Rustoleum. It is high temp and adds extra barrier to header for winter and such. Looks like it is ceramic coated too. Only like $4 a can or so, product comes in a spray paint sytle can.

I'll bump this for a good product/seller. I bought one of these headers from Mark about two years ago, and the header has been A1 for two years up here in the land of slush and salt. No issues.

I can't talk specifically about gains for the header, but the difference between stock and IHE was .6 seconds on my 1/4 mile time. I have to think the header was the major factor in that gain.
