Thank you all for working well with everyone to get all of this taken care of and rectified. The admins (Gurov and Heidi) could have just stayed out of it as it was not hosted by them, but they helped the community out by being the 2nd party that redrew the raffle.

Thank you both and Jeff for yes, being stubborn for the majority of MSV, but for also being very level headed with this and working with all parties involved.

Well now that the raffle is completed and done with, I think everyone who filed disputes should drop them since the turbo kit still does need to go out.

Can I ask what is going to happen with Shane and the previous 'winner'?  Are the police involved and how is this turbo being paid for unless the money is returned by Shane?  Enquiring minds.....

Shane has the money in his Paypal account. He is in contact with Jason @ Treadstone for payment and shipping. Shane also needs the people who filed paypal claims with him to cancel them, since that money is frozen.

The kit should be ordered today. And shipping time is depending on Treadstone.

And NO the police are NOT involved and will not need to be at all. Since Shane does have the money (except the money that is frozen by paypal disputes) and he IS ordering the kit for the raffle winner. There is no reason for any sort of legal action at all.

From what I know, it's a misunderstanding, but others seem to believe it was an scam, but either way, the raffle was redrawn and the ball is rolling on getting the turbo kit ordered.

And this isn't a "cover up" this is a, pick up the pieces and the raffle over with. Things turned for the worse, and like I said, thank you to the people involved who helped made this right.

Glad to see it is all working out in the end.  I think everybody learned something from this episode and I for one would buy tickets to another lottery provided that it was organized by someone with some cred.
