just dump the clutch at 2800-3000 thats what i do and im fine no wheel hop or spinning it chirps then goes and i dont have mmis or anything like that just wider tires

yeah i havent launched n/a in awhile nut i would launch at about that 2500-2800

well when i was stock i ran a 15.2 and with intake exhaust i ran a 15 doing that.. another thing you can do is launch it at 5500 feathering the clutch my buddy did that and he ran a 14.7 with just header and exhaust well full exhaust

what??? spec v's are suppose to run a 15.2 stock

depends om elevation there people on here that run 17s stock cause they live at 7000 above sea level

you are right but they run it at sea level in cali other places at sea level. they wouldnt take a new car to run it at 7000 above sea level cause it wont run that good that wont sell the car. pro or not pro cant beat mother nature

Yeah I was pretty surprised at the result considering I'm near stock. But what had happened was I had raced a tC first that had said he would beat Si's even if he missed 3rd gear. So I called him out and I spanked him, bad. So next time he asks if I wanna race his brother. The Cobalt.

I left at 3300 rpm and still spun, so to whoever said "in a honda u just drop the clutch at 6000 rpm", ur very mistaken.

What sucked was that was my worst rt. of the day. Just when I really needed it! lol

Dude was real cool after tho. He was a little surprised too.

The fastest 4 bangers were the boosted Neons and Civics. There was a hatch who ran 3 times, and broke 3 times. But still managed to go mid 10's...at 68 mph lol

Horrible driving on the ss/sc's part, my IRL ran a 14.6@98 w/2.2 60" bone stock on Blizzak tires! First time ever at the track with it.....Guys totally stock are running 14.4-14.5@98-99 with good driving, get some tires and go 14.2-14.3@98-99 stock. Although i have seen my buddy run neck and neck with an SI coupe from a roll in his IRL and he was pissed, they can be pretty quick with a good driver, nice run man!
