i ran both runs 15.8 ...... first time i reaction time of -.454 cuz i went on red but ran 15.6 with some wheel spin launching at 3k and psi at 33psi......... second run i kept the tire pressure the same but i launched at 3500rpm and got a .146 reaction time but this time with alittle better take off but wheel hop.... down after shifting into 2nd i mishifted into 3rd took me about a second to get it into gear and still ran 15.8 at 89mph which was and extra mph over the first run...... overall great experience i love it think if i wouldnt have gotten the wheel hop and if i shifted good i would have run low 15s ......n my clutch is not new anymore lol from racing and my neo gens dont grip as good as the oem conti sports in my opinion....n e ways im going tomorow again so hopefully ill get a good run.. and just to my luck first race i was up against an sti atleast thats what it looked like but with no wing and it ran 11.6 i was like wow now that makes me look bad lol.....the second run was again a new corvette he ran 15.5....he also misshifted into 3rd cuz i saw him fall back at the same time i did but he had me by like a fender so it wasnt too bad

Get some MMI's, launch around 2500 and feather the clutch, don't just drop it.

don't worry about your reaction times, they have NO impact on your times at the track. especially as a newbie, flat out ignore them. don't rush to leave right at the light, if you have to take a second or two to launch correctly or whatever, do it. the timing device does not start until you break the beam of light, so you can sit there on a green light for 2 minutes if you wanted, but it won't start timing your run until you break the beam.
so unless you are bracket racing or trying to kick someone's ass, forget all about reaction time.

man, i wish there were other specs around here that liked taking theirs to the track. every other person around here that has a spec acts like they didn't know a spec was designed to be driven, or they're just dumb young kids. wish i could take my car up there and hang out with you guys.
