Here are some pics and a write up on how to modify your fuel canister for a return fuel system and a larger fuel pump in preperation for a boosted application. We did this last night at my shop.
Here we have a stock fuel canister.
Take it apart, disconnect the fuel pump also:)
Take notice of the sock, you will be using this again -
carefully pry apart the bottom of the pump - be very careful to not destroy the clips that hold it together

see how the walboro fuel pump is larger then the factory one? it's going to be a tight fit, but we can make it work -
re use the rubber fitting on the old pump - put it on the new one -

put the new pump into the housing - you will need to push it into place, it will be tough but you can do it!

now we are going to remove the sock portion - take notice on the bottom piece you have two clips holding it in place - lets dremel them out of the way!

one they are removed, you should eb able to puch the sock up and out

now take your dremel and open up that hole - make it larger then it is now -

switch the fitting on the dremel to a flap wheel and lets remove the ridges off the new aftermarket pump -

once you got them out of the way - make sure to put that o ring back in it's spot!
clip her back together - not it's not easy, requires some man strength there:)
should look like this
take that sock now and put it on the bottom of the pump - it will be a tight fit, but it works perfectly - it's going to stick out some also
put her back together and wala - you now have a factory canister with an upgraded fuel pump

for a return system, the photos should be self explanitory!

Please copy and paste or repost the information. Many can't view that forum, and honestly, if you can take the 2 seconds to paste in that link, you could've pasted in the information instead.

Maybe you can copy pictures without saving them and re hosting them... i dont know.

This is a really good post, even if it is a bit long ago im still going to use it!
For anyone else doing this, I would make one huge bit of a suggestion. GROUND YOURSELF before attempting to even pull this stuff out of your tank!!! don't wanna hear of anyone having an accident.

change the title of the topic. Walbo = Walbro and add fuel in there somewhere. As search for fuel pump or walbro brings bad results. heh
