my momīs 2.5 altima just got a recall notice but it doesnīt say anything about the ecu. it just says that the car can stop running for no reason.

this is a serious deal because it happened to me personally two years ago. my ecu got fried while i was going 50 and it scared the shit out of me b/c the car died. it started once after that and then died again. i had to get it towed to the dealer after that. they said that the unit was "defective" and was covered under the emissions warranty. i just got the recall done today and now my idle is so damn low that the entire car shakes. but then i gain i do have solid mounts. the people at the dealer didn't want to service my car because it was "highly modified".... wait til its boosted.... tehehe
