I find it odd sometimes to leave random notes on peoples Spec-V's and SER's when I spot them. I was thinking if we had a myspecv.com card made that we could write our username on the back it would be easy to leave on cars when we see them and give us a more professional approach. I think it would boost memebership by a ton. More inviting and welcome them to a good community online of Spec junkies such as us...

What do you all think of it?

Seems one should dig through or search through this place before they post a new topic Eh?
Just been trying to get in touch with all the spec's i see and thought it would be a good idea.... Seems others thought it was too...

So the forum is doing it on there own then... Cool I guess....

Since I have joined this forum, I have seen so many specs. but before, not a one. I really need to print some out. I could have given out at least 20 cards.

gurov has resorted to handing them out while driving down the road to other Specs. I think it creeps some people out! I had some on my car at the last car show I went to, and a couple of people grabbed them, but I know they didn't have Specs (one was Mr Skywhine's friend). We've also left one or two on Specs we've seen in parking lots. Great fun.

gurov provided the file to everyone so you can get them printed yourself. we don't exactly make up the business cards for people.

Hey guys, my uncle is a graphics broker. He does business cards for me from time to time for free. I'll see if I can get a box of a thousand or so done. ( he tacks it on big clients bills so I don't pay squat) I'll split them up by the 100 and ship them out to general areas to be handed out to individuals. I'll keep you all updated. I'll call him tonight.

That would be great. If you do, ill take some to hand out down here in El Paso. It creeps people out when you put a note on their car or try to talk to them about joining a site.

I printed out 8 sheets of 12 per on gloss white paper at kinkos for like 12 bucks.

Ive put out about 15 so far on Specs and SE-Rs that Ive seen parked. I think I got one hit, in a newbie thread, but I dont think he came back.

Yea I work for a local Newspaper and I hear I can have our Commerical Printing department make up Cards for me if I wanted, maybe not a whole order of them like in the hundreds

But a good set of cards
so I can have them print up some high quality cars for my own use to pass them around, I don't get around much, but I do see a few SE-R's around

I kinda want to poke around with this PDF file if you guys don't mind

After remembering I had saved this PDF for the Business card

I worked on it alil tonight

here is a Preview of my Personal Version of the Card I will be using to pass around

I replaced the Vectored SE-R logo with a photo one, thinking it looks alil off but maybe I can ReVector it

and added the tag line down the middle

If you want to use this idea, just insert you name or Username in quotes( For longer names, I'd suggest sizing down the font )

couldn't really think of what else to do to it other then change the picture but I don't acutally have go shoots of My sentra or another Yellow one

I have seen alot of New 2007 Spec-V's Rolling around as of late, and seen even more B15 Spec-V's starting to get worked on

I am really consitering having this card Printed so I can start pass out them out...
