Went wingless and relocated the 3rd brake light. I didn't have a drill handy (I did the entire mod on my lunch break) to punch through the rear deck lid like I wanted so this had to suffice. If you can see the car from the side it looks fucking buff.
It doesn't look half bad considering i made it from electrical tape. Just as long as you arent standing right up on it then you wont know. I wanted to put it on the rear
Version 1, trunkless + 3rd brake light:

hey i have an idea...why not mold that light into the lower half of the lisence plate holder?
Or just snake the wires up through the rear deck then mount it inside?
how long are the wires man let me know considering this.

just enough to get in the rear decklid, it might snag a little when you open the trunk. Unless you take it from the loom that feeds it up to the middle. I'm just going to drill a little hole and feed them through, you wont be able to see it from the outside cuz oth the tints, until i stop

if i did it i would just extend the wires and mount it in the rear window. Like you said you won't see it until you brake and it will look good back there

And here's a shot of my winter rims/rims I can actually drive places because my other ones are borked:

It was hit by a snow plow on 12/6/07. It's currently getting everything you see below repaired along with two new headlights and a driver's side mirror. for the time being I'm cruising in an 06' Saturn aura rental at my own expense.

I can get that with progressive but I was led to believe by other parties that because of my age, I cannot rent a car. Which turned out to be untrue. But I did get a VERY good rate (compared to what they normally go for)
I got the car for 12 days for $290., which I still think is a ripoff.
But on the bright side of things... My new wheels came in today, and I have nothing to put them on. Does anybody know offhand the bolt pattern for a Saturn Ion... O.o

i got my car back from the accident, the door alignment is off my an 1/8" of an inch on the drivers side, but i got 2 new headlights, everything was done very well, but not PERFECT. I might take it back in later on

Offline

Kevin

Put on my new rims and got it lowered, check it!
it's not actually lowered, but there are 2 fat kids on that side, that's just what it will look like if it was slammed

Offline

Alex

Haha. Nice. The rims look really nice on there. You should post a sound clip of your exhaust. I am curious as to how it sounds.
