yeah, it's tiptronic auto, 5 speed.
no real plans for it... maybe intake/header/exhaust eventually, some other tasteful performance mods to give it a bit extra pep.
mostly it's for me to drive to the store to get parts for the spec and not have to worry about it stranding me

no, i think that's the 2006+ ones that have the idrive.

I have a 5 series daily driver, I'm in the same boat as you plus i have no backseats anymore but nice ride, I purchase all my BMW parts from a company call Bavarian Autosports, they carry just about anything you want from performance to just basic maintenance stuff, even the little cup holders that tend to last only 6 months or so before someone tries to sqeeze there super large coffee from D&D. www.bavauto.com, 1-800-535-2002. they sell great aftermarket floor mats cheep for the winter, suspension and they organize alot of meets all over the place. They are awesome if you need help with diagnosing problems, they'll send you what ever diagram you need, they are basically like a BMW parts center but alot cheeper than BMW direct. Good Luck with it. Oh and those straight sixes love boost

looks good I have a 03 325i thats my wife DD I bought it for th esame reason. I just didnt like having to drive the spec everywhere
