if so how much would you like to pay (be reasonable not like $20 lol)
megan racing might do it if there is enough support.
also recommend other items suspension wise that you would all like made.

Yes, $100-$150. I love doing suspension mods like I had on my old civic. So here's my list of preferences:
1. coilovers - already made by MR and Ksport
2. Rear Sway Bar
3. Lower Tie Bar
4. Front Sway Bar - at least 5-9mm thicker, preferred if it fits
5. New bushings - polyurethane of course

Im game, 150-200 is about average in price. Perferably a solid bar as opposed to a hollow bar.

Travis

I would pay up to about $190 for one.

the more people that reply and vote the more of a chance it will happen.

Im working on mostly chassis work. Had made a front sway bar, but it somehow broke, bent, and crushed at the powdercoater. Lets just say im not going to them again. Back to the drawing board.

why dont you make some designs and propose them to different companies?
hell you did most of the damn r & d already, you could just sell the work and get a free finished product.

I was thinking about that, and decided that it might just be better for myself to have 1 off parts. But then again, i only came to that conclusion because i dont know how to go about selling the work like you said.

im going with suspension and N/A rally/circuit type of racing car so yes id be interested and id pay 100-150 shipped and also a strut bar.
Offline

alex... not to be a douche.
but where is a strut tower bar gonna fit honestly?
unless you have an aftermarket intake and bend the bar to where there is no tension and its just a decoration piece it wont fit.
now a strut bar would be nice, although on some cars it doesnt affect the handling at all.
we have to all pass due to the strut positioning.
what i would love to see is all of these little suspension goodies released from megan
and some polyurathane bushings from energysuspension.
everyone look up that address and email/call them if you are interested and someone get down there and test em!
since manufacturers dont wanna make the effort, lets all make an effort.

Rakon,
I'm currently looking into starting my own line of suspension modifications for the b15/b16 platforms. I'll keep you guys informed. We may be having a b16 come to the Boston meet next week and i'll be taking measurements for a 4 pt lower tie bar initially. I've looked into the unique engine bay of the b16 and a strut tower bar is possible, but it will be a really snug fit, and that's if you don't have a intake. I'll keep you guys posted, we should have some prototype news by middle of summer.

We will probably all be waiting, but then again megan seems to be some of the only ones that want to do things for us. Definitely keep us posted though.

call up tokico...
i personally think the best way to roll is full coilovers.
the whole strut assembly is made to match itself perfectly.
adjustable camber, dampening, height...
cant go wrong.

Jeff

aftermarket shocks are useless, in all honesty. By the time u pay $250-$350 for shocks + $200-$250 for springs = $450-$600 which is almost coilover cost. Coilovers have camber plates (ksport do, MR dont) and have adjustable damper (some shocks have that, some dont). Coilovers are rebuildable as well.
Rakonismo - keep up the good work of getting companies starting to make shit for us, especially MR as it seems u have developed a good relationship with them thus far.

thanks jeff.
good to see you back.
im actually networking with over 10 companies right now to try to get products out.
im not gonna mention any names because i dont want any of you guys getting blue balls over parts.
but the key to this industry is support.

so any news??? i get one

yeah coilovers are nice and all, but there is no camber for the rear since there is a solid axle. also $600 for springs and shocks is rather different than $1,000 for coilovers.
